Smooth curve swingarm with hidden mount axle pockets. Kits are designed to fit stock style Softail frames and Zodiac Wide-Tail frame and will accept up to 250 series rear tires on 8.00″ or 8.50″ wide rim. Kit bolts straight into the stock Softail frame as well as our Wide-Tail frame, and you can still use a final belt drive. Stock Evolution Softail must be converted to the latest 20mm wide belt with pulleys but can also be converted to chain drive. All swing arm kits include a fully TIG welded curved swing arm with smooth looking hidden axle pockets, rear wheel axle, stainless steel fender extension plate, swing arm bearings, swingarm pivot spacer bushing were needed and the appropriate transmission off set kit with gaskets. Must be installed with a custom rear brake caliper with Y-bracket such as Performance Machine ZPN 721402. Extra wide fenders and Custom style fender struts can be found elsewhere in this catalogue.
Note: Kit for 2012-2013 models also fits 2008-2011 models that are equipped with a Screamin’ Eagle compensator OEM 40274-08 or 40274-08A. These feature only 1 thrust washer between the sprocket and sprocket retainer. Kit for 2014 thru 2017 models also fits 2008-2013 models that are equipped with a Screamin’ Eagle compensator OEM 36500034A, 40100061, 4220064A or 42200095A. These feature a thrust needle bearing and 2 washers between the sprocket and sprocket retainer.
