This is a pro laminate, highly technical enduro and adventure jacket combining premium materials, features and layering technology. A 2L C0 DWR (durable water repellency) laminate with 15/12k waterproofing and breathability rating outer shell has been reinforced with Superfabrics ceramic overlays. Inside is a 2.5 litre hydration pocket with tube attachment point to take the Merlin hydration bladder. Waterproof YKK direct to skin opening ventilation panels are found to increase airflow for active and hot rides, with additional features including antibacterial treated liners and a host of adjusters, pockets and details that elevate the Akashi jacket above all other Merlin Explorer garments.
