Looking to put a brake on your springer build? These kits are the solution.
Made to complement Moto Iron brand front ends, these are the calipers we recommend for springers conversion projects because we know they offer builders a simple, easy bolt-in solution. They will also fit front ends made byDNA, Hardbody (Mid-USA), Ultima, Biker’s Choice, and Paughco (possibly with modification).
These springer kits are perfect for springers that feature a caliper stay mounting boss on the rear leg. Included wheel spacers are cut to accept 1984-1999 Harley-Davidson Softail-style wheels (6 1/2″ width). This kit can be used with wheels from other models if the appropriate spacers are fabricated.
We recommend the use of a 9/16″ master cylinder with this caliper kit. P/N101-0194 and101-0195, our compatible hand control kits, have master cylinders with the correct bore size and are available separately. DOT 5 brake fluid (not included) is recommended for use with this caliper. Brake lines are also available. This kit is not compatible with OEM Harley-Davidson springer front ends.
